The Cultural Cities Research Network will be meeting on Wednesday 13th July 2011 at Kelham Island Museum, Sheffield. This will be the first of three day-long events, where participants from within and across the three cities will have the opportunity to network, discuss their own experiences, and explore shared research interests and opportunities for ongoing research collaborations.
The theme for the Sheffield event will be ‘incentive’. Participants will be invited to discuss how the UKCoC competition incentivised engagement in cultural policy making and planning, encouraged collaboration and partnership working, and connected communities within the city.
Themes for future events in Norwich and Birmingham will include ‘momentum’ and ‘impact’.
